Hi Everyone!
I am interested in starting a volunteer program where we give employees the day off to volunteer at one of our specified community projects. I was wondering if anyone had done this and also if you had a policy you might be able to share.

I helped develop a Volunteer Community Service policy with an inter-departmental team of Legal, HR, Mission Integration and Compliance while at St. Joseph Health. Let me see if I can get them to share the latest version. Maya DNancy,
I still have had problems getting the policy I created. I am reaching out to Kaiser to get theirs. As one idea, we had a partnership with an affordable housing provider–Mercy Housing. We organized a day long event similar to Habitat, where we had employees come to the site, and assist in some supervised activities (nothing too technical). It was a great day and allowed people from different departments to meet each other.
